The Pharmacy department at DMH functions as part of the patient care team, overseeing all aspects of medication use, from the operating room or intensive care unit, to the emergency room and patient care wards. Our goal is to make certain that you or your loved one receives the right drug, in the right dose, at the right time.
What We Do
The Doctors Memorial Infusion Center, provides therapeutic, intravenous infusions to outpatients as an alternative to receiving treatments in hospital or through home care agency. Infusions include biological medications for inflammatory bowel diseases, IV hydration, intravenous immunoglobulin, blood products and antibiotic therapy. Other services include medication injections, central line access and phlebotomy for diagnostic labs.
Our pharmacist is available to counsel patients and their families regarding proper medication use. Additionally, our pharmacist can be contacted to present wellness/disease prevention programs to your civic or church group.
