If you’re looking for a doctor who knows the community and is passionate about sports medicine, look no further.

Dr. Bilal Islam was born and raised in Panama City, Florida, so he really understands what our community needs. After completing his residency training in Family Medicine at the University of South Alabama, he furthered his training by completing a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Mercy Health in Wisconsin.

While at Mercy, he acted as the team physician for the number one ranked division 3 football team in the country as well as other professional, college, and high school teams.

He has extensive experience caring for athletes of all levels. He’s served as team physician for multiple different sports, including (but not limited to) hockey, football, rugby, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, lacrosse, gymnastics, running, bicycling, golf, skiing, snowboarding, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, MMA and boxing.
