Infusion Therapy Services

About

About

The Pharmacy department at DMH functions as part of the patient care team, overseeing all aspects of medication use.  Whether in the operating room,  intensive care unit,  emergency room or patient care wards, our goal is to make certain that you or your loved one receives maximum benefit from the prescribed medications with the least possible adverse effects.

What We Do

Doctors Memorial Infusion service provides therapeutic, intravenous infusions to outpatients as an alternative to receiving treatments in hospital or through home care agency. Infusions include biological medications for inflammatory diseases, IV hydration, intravenous blood product derivatives for genetic disorders, as well as long-term antibiotic therapy for chronic infections. Other services include medication injections, central line access and phlebotomy after diagnostic labs.

Our pharmacist is available to counsel inpatients and their families regarding proper medication use. Additionally, our pharmacist can be contacted to present wellness/disease prevention programs to your civic or church group.
