How would you assist the hospital as a student volunteer?
A student will volunteer their time weekly in various departments such as Dietary, Administration, and Reception. Assignments will be flexible and tailored to each student’s interest and future goals.
What is required to become a Student Volunteer?
A Student Volunteer must be in good standing with their learning institution. Home school students are welcomed. There is no cost involved and a DMH shirt is provided.
What’s the next step?
Complete and return the volunteer application to info@doctorsmemorial.org or deliver to Doctors Memorial Hospital at 2600 Hospital Dr along with a letter of recommendation from your school administrator or guidance counselor. Administration will conduct an interview to determine your interests, skills and availability. An orientation and tour of the hospital is also required.

Will volunteer hours be applied to scholarship requirements?
Absolutely! This is a great way to fulfill those community service hours required for your scholarship. Letters of recommendation may also be obtained from Administration upon request.
